After I had left The Michael Band, and was playing out solo, I had written a number of songs that I wanted to record with a band. The guys from Michael agreed to be the band for the project, which was being engineered by Eddie Sprig at CT Sound in Bridgeport, CT. We put down a number of tracks, including harmony vocals, but the studio mistakenly erased (recorded over) most of the original material, leaving only the live version band and my initial (scratch) vocals intact. It was a huge setback, but I preserved what remained for this collection.
