Back when I began recording the songs I’d written, my home studio consisted of a Yamaha cassette 4-track recorder, an upright Kawai piano, and a couple of Beyer mics. I recently rediscovered many (about 30-40) of those early tracks, and digitalized them for posterity. What I was surprised to find was that some of those early versions were actually as good as (and in some cases, better than) the later versions already collected here, energy-wise, and especially vocally. This collection represents the best of that bunch, and I thought to include it on the website to better represent what the songs were meant to be at the time they were written. Enjoy!
